Honeymoon Cruise, June 2005 Reviewer: Hazel Fry from Edinburgh - UK We sailed on the Melody in June 2005 as part of our honeymoon. We were delighted with the cabin which had been upgraded to a mini suite complete with champagne on ice. The cabin was bigger than we have had on other ships and the bathroom had a bath with a very powerful shower above. Always plenty of hot water and complimentary shampoo and oils.
The crew were very good, in particular Beni, a waiter at the piano bar who took the time to point out places of interest at each port of call. The evening meals were very good and our dining companions also became our social friends. The lunchtime buffet was fine but I did find it slightly repetitive.
There are plenty of public areas and although the ship was full you could always find a quiet spot to relax. Entertainment in the evenings was good with a variety of shows. Overall a very good experience and I would sail on this ship again
