The clever use of glass, including floor to ceiling windows in the public areas, gives the ship a spacious feel. Features include a retractable glass roof in the pool and lounge area.
Service is friendly rather than sophisticated, and you don’t get the attention to detail and the special, personal service that you will find on smaller ships.
SuitabilityAn excellent choice for couples, first-timers and experienced cruisers, as there is so much to do on board. Good value for money.
Royal Caribbean is one of the best options for families as it has extensive facilities for children and an excellent kids’ club. However, passengers who want a more British experience may prefer to travel on P&O. Hints & TipsSuite passengers have their own club for breakfast and evening drinks.
Text-mad cruisers will be pleased to know that mobile phones can be used at sea.
Online check-in is available, to speed up embarkation.
