Neighborhood of Knowledge
Over the course of the Winter and Spring Quarters, participate in programs, tabling events, and online/social media activities. You'll learn about things like cooking, budgeting, handling pets and service animals, and being a great neighbor! Many programs have individual giveaways, but you can also win great prizes by participating in activities through the Winter and Spring Quarters! See the full schedule of events here. Each in-person event will also be advertised on our , and our Events page.
How Does it Work?
First, get your聽Neighborhood Passport! Use it to track all that you have learned.
The Neighborhood of Knowledge has four streets and one cul-de-sac to explore, all for different aspects of living off-campus (click here for a PDF version of the map). Some are in-person events, some will be activities hosted at a table in Norris, and some will be online, via OCL’s Instagram or LinkedIn pages. To be eligible for prizes at the end, during the Winter and Spring Quarters you must:
- Participate in at least one opportunity per street.
- Two of those opportunities must be an in-person program.

Some individual events will have their own particular giveaways. You'll just have to show up to find out!聽
Those who participate in 5 activities across the streets (and cul de sac!) will be eligible to win prizes in a drawing, perfect for enjoying the yard with friends (or whatever outdoor space you have). Four lucky drawing winners will get one of two prizes:

A set of two outdoor chairs!
